Code of Conduct
1. Commitment to a Respectful, Inclusive Environment
FabriXAI is committed to providing a welcoming, respectful and harassment-free experience for all participants. This includes speakers, attendees, sponsors, exhibitors, volunteers, staff and guests, regardless of gender, age, sexual orientation, disability, appearance, ethnicity, national origin, religion or any other status.
We operate across the UK and Asia, and we believe that Responsible AI can only progress through diverse voices and inclusive collaboration.
2. Expected Behaviour
FabriXAI events and community spaces are designed for professional networking, meaningful dialogue and the exchange of ideas about Responsible AI.
We expect all participants to:
- Treat others with courtesy and consideration
- Engage in discussions with openness and respect
- Foster an environment that supports collaboration and learning
- Contribute to a positive and constructive experience for everyone
3. Unacceptable Behaviour
Harassment or inappropriate behaviour of any kind will not be tolerated. Examples include:
- Discriminatory or derogatory comments related to gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, appearance, body size, race, age or religion
- Unwelcome sexual attention or suggestive behaviour
- Intimidation, stalking or harassing actions
- Disrupting talks, sessions or activities
- Recording or photographing individuals without consent
- Offensive, abusive or demeaning language
- Encouraging violence or harmful behaviour
Participants who are asked to stop any inappropriate behaviour are expected to comply immediately.
4. Speaker Conduct and Content Standards
Speakers representing FabriXAI must adhere to high standards of professionalism. Specifically:
- Do not use sexualized images, inappropriate language or discriminatory content in talks or slides
- Ensure that content is aligned with Responsible AI and not purely promotional
- Respect cultural and regional contexts, especially within our cross-regional audience in the UK and Asia
- Maintain professional conduct before, during and after sessions, including virtual participation
5. Consequences of Violations
FabriXAI may take any of the following actions if the Code of Conduct is violated:
- Immediate removal from the event or virtual session without refund
- Restriction from participating in future events
- Reporting serious misconduct to relevant authorities, if necessary
6. Reporting an Issue
If you experience or witness behaviour that violates this Code of Conduct, please contact the FabriXAI organising team as soon as possible at support@fabrixai.com or speak to a staff member at the venue. All reports will be handled with discretion and seriousness, and we will work to resolve issues promptly.
7. Ongoing Improvement
FabriXAI is committed to regularly reviewing and improving this Code of Conduct in order to maintain a safe, inclusive and respectful environment for all members of our community.
